Questions & Answers |
|
| |
Q. Will the club stay open during the work?
A. Yes, however during the project there will be no squash courts, all other facilities will remain open throughout although there will be a smaller temporary gym available during phase 2.
We have arranged for access to some other squash facilities during the project. Please email Stuart Hay to get more information or ask at the reception desk.
Q. What will we do for changing facilities during the work?
A.For pool users there are temporary changing cubicles, shower facilities, toilets and lockers in the poolside area. For gym and classes users we have made some changes to the upstairs changing rooms to increase capacity. These are sign posted from reception. We have also set aside a room in the reception area with hairdryers and mirrors in.
Q. Can I change my membership if the works affect my usage?
A. Any member who doesn’t want to use any of the facilities during the work will be able to freeze their membership at no charge. Members will also be able to change their membership category in the normal way if their usage pattern is likely to be affected.
Q. How can I change my membership type or freeze my membership?
A. There is a simple form available from reception or downloadable below. You can complete it on your PC and email it to andrew.dunn@frank-lee.com or drop it in at the club.
Q. With all these temporary arrangements, how will we know where to go?
A.In addition to these updates we are also having some specific drawings made up to help members understand the 2 phases and where everything is during each phase. |

Some more details |
|
| |
All the showers will have individual temperature control.
Both changing rooms will have a spin dryer to dry swimming costumes.
The new changing rooms will have new everything (e.g. lockers, benches, showers and changing cubicles).
The new changing rooms won’t have air conditioning but will have a brand new ventilation system which will be much more effective at controlling the temperature and humidity.
The gym equipment will be the same as we currently have but moved into the new room. Replacement gym equipment pushed this project costs up too high. The equipment will be replaced in the future but not as part of this project.
The snooker facility will be lost but may be replaced in the future. |
